I am developing a standalone application to send some SCSI commands like SCSI enquiry, mode sense to the scsi targets ( attached with a lsi controller) listed in /vmfs/devices/disk/naa.*** using SG_IO ioctl(). I found this is working in ESXi 5.1, but ESXi 5.0 is returning improper ioctl. Can you help me on this? whether I need to update anything or enable anything.
