Install from USB to USB but crash during initializing scheduler

I got a NAS with the following system specs

ZOTAC H77-ITX WiFi (I am not sure if it's the A or B series)

8GB ram

Wireless USB keyboard from Logitech

All physical harddrives is disabled during installation

And I am installing the latest 5.1.0 version of the vSphere Hypervisor

I am doing this from a bootable USB stick, 16GB (2.0) (made with UNetbootin, FAT32 formattet)

And my target installation is another USB stick, 32 GB (3.0)

Problem is that during the initializing scheduler step the install stops and short after resets the computer.

I have searched for a solution and found that if you disable "legacy USB" in the BIOS that might help with the issue.

I can't really do that because then the usb sticks are not found and installation is impossible.

Hardware works fine enough to have a working Windows Server 2008 installation running.
