USB 3.0 Host Support

Hi

I am running ESX 5.1 and my Mobo has USB 3.0. Can I use USB 3.0 DAS appliances and benefit from using the full speed that USB 3.0 offers when creating new datastores on this DAS? I am thinking of purchasing the new Drobo Mini which has USB 3.0 support.
