I've got ESXi 5.1 running. It has only got one datastore that running on a RAID10 (6 physical drives 300GB each SAS 15K).
One of the virtual machines will be running Server 2008 R2 with Exchange 2010 SP1 installed. It's for a 40 user site. I've read Microsoft's recommendation to have the OS and page file on a seperate partition to the database and log files. Not only a seperate partition, but also on a seperate array.
the questions I have is if it will make any diffrence creaking the current array and creating two seperate arrays and starting from scratch. Not a big deal as there is no rush getting it ready for production.
