Hi all,
New to vmware, and learning a lot, so please be kind
Ran into the following issue:
- setup ESXi 5 with NO local storage
- ESXi boots from USB stick
- all vm's etc are on NAS via NFS share
When the system reboots or starts up, the vm's marked for autostart are not starting. A quick look into the logs, revealed that apperantly the NFS share gets mounted AFTER the system tries to autostart the vm's. Of course it can not do that, since they are not yet accessable!
I've tried to delay the autostart of the vm's, but even 15 minutes didn't do the trick.
Is there a way to set the order of events @ boot ie let the NAS/NFS be mounted before the autostart occures?
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Thanks.
