Upgraded an Intel S5520HC Serverboard based system from ESXi 5.0 U1 to 5.1.
Configuration; Hardware; Health Status from vSphere Client in 5.0 U1 always showed data - typically "Normal".
Using vSphere Client v5.1.0 Build 786111, and now Health Status is Unknown. Have reset sensors in the vSphere Client but this doesn't have any impact.
Also noticed that the fan speed on this server raised and lowered quite a few times after the upgrade....although it has settled down now.
Is this a "feature" of 5.1 or did i miss something in the upgrade?
