pfSense Transparent Bridge?

Hi,

I have a client with a stack with 3hosts and I would like to get pfSense in a transparent firewall mode.

My issue is when I enable Promiscuouse Mode on the vSwitches a broadcast storm and the Netgears litterally stop.

Only way to stop is to shutdown the hosts and change the vSwitch to Reject Promiscuouse Mode as they come up.

I created these two vSwitches-

WAN and pfSense and they share the same nics and not vlan'd, IE default vlan1

I only modify WAN for the mode.

My thought is to add 2 more nics per host and on the switches put the pfSense on these new ports on the switches just untag the data.
