Hi all,
I have a little problem - Logged onto my vCenter home lab this morning and the following was displayed in the summary -
Lost connectivity to the device mpx.vmhba32:c0:t0:lo backing the boot filesystem. As a result, host configuration changes will not be saved to persistent storage.
So I shutdown all the vm's and rebooted the host, but now it will not boot. It just says 'Loading operating system'.
I am using a Gigabyte board and know there was an issue with slow booting on esxi 5 with internal HDD's so I used a USB Stick instead. But is everything screwed now? Could I just re-install esxi 5 onto the USB stick and carry on as it sounds like its broken?
I hope I dont lose my vm's because of this.
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks,
Karl
